2020-22 Program Calendar

Below is the three year full program sequence for the 2020-2022 student cohort. A new sequence begins 2023. This cycle of courses includes all 27 credits required for Alternate Route certification. Priority registration is guaranteed for full program students. Students may also register for specific courses individually, and are appropriate for experienced clinicians.

NOTE: Our current 2020-2022 program cohort is full. The next cohort will begin in 2023. However, courses can be taken individually for Alternate Route credit or CEUs if space is available in the course.

Year I 2020 – 9 credits

Courses are typically scheduled over the third weekend in February, the third week in June, and the third weekend in September and first weekend in November each year. Final schedule is set with input from program students.

February: 4 days // February 20 – 23 // Thursday – Sunday
Methods and Approaches in Dance/Movement Therapy (2 credits)

April: 3 days // April 24 – 26 // Friday – Sunday
Clinical Applications in Practice (1 credit)

June: 4 days // June 25 – 28 // Thursday – Sunday // ONLINE
Embodied Neurobiology (2 credits)

September: 9 days // September 19, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25, & November 1 // ONLINE
Movement Observation I (3 credits)

Year II 2021 – 9 Credits

Body as Voice Part I (2 credits)

February: 4 days // February 12 – 15
Body as Voice Part II (2 credits)

June: 4 days // June 24-27 (specific course TBA)

September: 4 days // September 16 – 19
Body as Voice Part III (2 credits)

Psychodynamic Approaches in Dance/Movement Therapy (1 credit)
